Congratulations are due to our first team, who enjoyed a win over Stretton in the South Derbyshire Dickie Cup last Thursday.
Kings Newton won by an impressive 25 point lead, with Chellaston hosting the match, and are now through to the next cup round.
Paul Chambers, first team captain, said of the match “The team was amazing with outstanding bowling by everyone. There was great spirit and a fantastic atmosphere. Thanks to Alan Holbrook for getting us over the line with his support.”
Preparations are now underway for the next round of the cup – good luck bowlers!
